Sometimes—actually, most of the time—I don’t feel like talking too much. That’s why I prefer writing. It helps me sort my thoughts and, ideally, put them out there in a way that makes sense. But sometimes, I don’t even feel like writing much.
Which is probably why I love photography so much. It’s just… shut up and look.
And that’s what my Substack is mainly about—photos.
So, I’m starting PhotoFriday. Every Friday, I’ll share 1–10 photos I’ve taken over the years or recently. Less text, more images.
A bit of inspiration for this came from Susanne Helmert’s My Morning Muse and her Visual Journal—her pictures just speak for themselves. If you haven’t checked it out, you should.
And yeah, today’s only Monday. But I’ve been wanting to post my Upside Down photos for a while now, so this week, Photo Friday is happening twice. Yay.
UPSIDE DOWN
For me, flipping these photos always feels like a parallel world—if the composition works. A little bit of Inception, a little bit of a better world.

These are great!
Thank you for mentioning my newsletter. I really appreciate this.
Sometimes words feel unnecessary and the photos are perfectly enough. So why overcomplicate!? ;-)
