Hi, Hello or "Moin" like we say in the north of Germany

Hey there! Where I come from, we say Moin instead of Hello!
You pronounce it like the beginning of the word "Poison" - just swap the P for an M and drop the S and O.

My name is Björn Bremer, I'm 41 years old (a 90s kid) and I'm from Bremen, in northern Germany. And yes, my city shares my last name. I stumbled upon Substack just a few weeks ago and I think I like the concept as a nice change from my German blog on my website.

I want to write here about things or events related to photography. Whether it's stories and backgrounds of my photos or the pros and cons of the photo gear I use or have used. I'll definitely also introduce my favorite photo books and let my thoughts run wild when it comes to being an introverted lazybones and YouTube.

Oh yeah, as I'm slowly getting over my fear of flying, I'll probably write about some of my travels too - I'm heading to Crete, Greece soon and New York in March.

Maybe I'll find some readers here who are on the same wavelength as me? Because most of this so-called "social" media just isn't my thing anymore.
